CIRIS is a web-based service designed to help healthcare providers comply with regulation, both internal and external. Users are able to conduct compliance assessments, build an online portfolio of evidence, produce action plans and then monitor their progress against these action plans.

CIRIS is the easy way to prepare for inspections. It provides an attractive alternative to the typical home-grown approach, which can be both highly disruptive of operations and involve copious duplication of evidence.

The service was developed initially as a solution for radiology in collaboration with the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and the College of Radiographers (COR), with support from the Department of Health. The corporate level service was launched in May last year and has attracted 100 NHS Trust customers to date.
